The 1989 Ferrari F40, the middle year of the cars 87-92 production run......My favorite Ferrari ever made! In two versions, black rims and normal....

I created this using Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Adobe Illustrator 10. I start by drawing out the car, usually with my mouse, but a few newer ones have been done with a PC TABLET. I draw the car out and then begin painting it. All the painting and literally everything else is "hand done," no special fill effects or anything here....I paint using the paint brush tool, and a few other minor tools, but the paintbrush is pretty much #1 in the process.

I have a few more of these, and there are always new ones on the way.

This took roughly 20-30 hours to complete.

Original size is near 3ft wide. I am in the business of selling these on my website: [link] (new site still under construction, but there is a "work in progress" page.)

Anyway take from it what you will, comments are always welcome positive or negative :)

Dude, thats killer. It has alot of depth. The only thing that maybe doesn't feel right is the outline of the shaddows/highlights/reflections on the paint and rims... makes it look a little too busy.

Yeah I know what you mean about the outlines, that's what everybody said to me about it when i first did it. Thats why I changed my approach and now I make them Über realistic! Just go to my gallery and check out the NOBLE M12 GTO 3-R commissioned work I'm doing right now. It is in the new style.

Website is still under construction, has been for quite some time, haven't had much time to work on it, but when its up, it will be updated regularly....

Mate, I've had a look at the noble, and you are right... it looks aweosme. So does the Enzo. Nice work.
